Meet
Dr. Jono Gluck
Born and raised in Nashville, Dr. Jonathan Gluck, or Dr. Jono as he’s known at the office, graduated from Ensworth School where he was a member of the Orange team, played many sports, and fondly remembers P.E. class with Mr. Inman. He attended Montgomery Bell Academy and graduated in 2004. At MBA, Dr. Jono played offensive line for the football team, winning two state championships in 2002 and 2003, and served as Public Address announcer during baseball season.
After high school, Dr. Jono moved north to attend the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. There, he did not play for the Michigan Wolverines Football team, but grew to tolerate cold winters, worked as an assistant chef in a sorority kitchen, and coached Little League flag football in the spring. Dr. Jono also received his Bachelor of Science degree in Brain, Behavior and Cognitive Sciences from Michigan in December 2008. He earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the prestigious University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco in 2012.
Following dental school, Dr. Jono remained at University of the Pacific to complete his twenty-seven month specialty residency in orthodontics along with a Master’s of Science in Dentistry. University of the Pacific’s Orthodontic Department worked in collaboration with Align Technology to develop Invisalign. Dr. Jono trained with Dr. Robert Boyd, the founding orthodontist of Invisalign, and received a world-class education in aligner treatment.
Dr. Jono moved back to Nashville in May, 2015 to join practice with his father, Dr. Joel Gluck, at Gluck Orthodontics. He successfully completed the American Board of Orthodontics Clinical Exam in September, 2015, becoming Nashville’s newest Board Certified Orthodontist. Following the Board Certification process, Dr. Jono continues to pursue Continuing Education with specific interests in alignter treatment and esthetics. He loves to teach and educate, and has given countless presentations to Nashville’s dental community on aligner treatment, orthodontic diagnosis, and his favorite topic – Legendary Customer Service. Dr. Jono also serves as the Chair of the New Member Committee for Schulman Group, a prestigious Nashville organization of top orthodontic practices.
Dr. Jono married Dina Finer Gluck, a native Tulsan, in November, 2015. Dina is a Nurse Practitioner at Nashville Skin. Dina and Jono have two wonderful children Noah (5) and Sloane (2.5). On the weekends you can find the Gluck Family spending time at Nashville’s various parks, having lunch on the patio at Corner Pub, and on the soccer field sidelines at First Presbytarian. When he’s not spending time with his family or taking care of patients, Dr. Jono loves to take his beloved German Shepherd, Joey, to Percy Warner, improve on his golf game (still a work in progress), read nonfiction, exercise, cook, and watch college football (Go Blue!!).
